FKS families,
The weeks seem to get busier and busier as the year progresses both in academics and fun!!! While we maintain the academic rigor we expect our students to be exposed to, we always infuse activities and service learning projects to help develop our young people into empathetic, productive and kind citizens.
This week was a critical week as we celebrated and had age appropriate discussions around kindness and spreading kindness to different members of our school community. Acts of kindness were on display every day and we hope this continues as the norm in order to create an ever evolving kind, inclusive school environment.
We were also fortunate to be witness to the musical stylings of our 5th grade musicians who performed in school and again at night for our guests. It is always amazing to me how proficient young children can be with something as difficult as learning to read music and play an instrument. Congratulations to Ms. Fessenden and her troupe of budding musicians who really outdid themselves.
We wish you all a safe and healthy extended weekend and see you Tuesday when we return to school.
Sincerely,
Your Principal, Dr. Christopher Marangon
Your Assistant Principal, Mr. John Winsted
