FKS families,

We have been continuing our character education here at FKS and thank Ms. Sokol for finishing another round of character ed lessons on Kindness and Empathy. Students had the opportunity to complete a "Kindness Scavenger Hunt/Bingo board" of suggested kind acts to help students take more awareness of kindness and showing empathy. Students that have completed the challenge are receiving a certificate to take home as a positive reinforcement for choosing kindness.

There are plenty of events and activities upcoming to round out February and kick off March so make sure to check the flyers, dates and info below.

FKPTA Theater Week

The Flocktown Kossmann PTA is excited to welcome back Theater Week on March 3 - 7, 2025!

Taubenslaug Productions, our theater partner, will have the children performing "The Brave Little Tailors of Transylvania." Taubenslaug Productions is a professional children’s theater group who will cast, produce and stage this year’s play all in 1 week! They are dedicated to presenting quality family entertainment and teaching children how theater arts can build confidence and be FUN!

Only students in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th can participate. Due to space limitations on the Flocktown Stage, sign ups are limited to the first 65 students.

Rehearsal Times in the Flocktown Multipurpose Room:

Mon, 3/3 to Wed, 3/5:  2PM- 4PM. Thu, 3/6: 2PM-3:45PM

Final performance for family and friends will be held on Friday, 3/7, at 7:00 pm at the Cucinella Cafetorium. All performers please arrive by 6:30pm to the cafetorium dressed in costume. A school performance will be held earlier that day at 12:45 pm for students only.
