PENNY WARS: Thank you to the LVMS PTA for holding Penny Wars last week. Included are the results:

6th place - 7-2: 30 pts
5th place - 6-2: 40 pts
4th place - 6-1: 50 pts
3rd place - 7-1: 60 pts
2nd place -6-3: 70 pts
1st place - 7-3: 100 pts

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES: Parent teacher conferences were held last week. If you have any questions, please reach directly to your child's team of teachers.

MARKING PERIOD 1 CONCLUDES: As of 11/4 MP1 has concluded. The OnCourse Portal will close to students and families while grades are being finalized.

Fall Picture Retake Day

Picture Retake Day: Tuesday, November 12th

Students that missed picture day (on 10/2/24) are required to have their photo taken on 11/12
Any student that purchased a picture packages and wants a retake, the photos must be returned to the photographer on the morning of Picture Retake Day (11/12)

Attention 8th Grade Students and Families!

As our 8th Grade Class settles into their final year at Long Valley Middle School, we will begin preparing them for their transition into high school. Included you will see some "Dates to Remember" for the Class of 2025. These dates help explain the high school orientation process. 8th Grade Ads

The Yearbook Staff at Long Valley Middle School invites you to make a memorable addition to the 2024-25 Yearbook in the form of a WELL WISHER. Some parents surprise their graduate with this gift. All Ads must be purchased by February 15, 2025. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS will be accepted beyond that submission date. Only one ad per student is allowed.

Winter Sports 2024-25

The deadline to submit paperwork and physicals for Winter Sports has closed!

Tryouts for Boys and Girls Basketball are scheduled for 11/11 - 11/13 from 3:30 - 5pm
Athletes must plan on attending ALL tryout days!

Included are the Winter 2024-25 Sports Offered at LVMS (separate links include additional information to coach website / tentative scheduling)

LVMS PTA SHOE DRIVE

This year the LVMS PTA is partnering with GotSneakers as a year-round fundraiser. To participate, simply drop your pairs of used athletic shoes in the available box that will be located in the LVMS lobby starting September 17. If you would like to know more about GotSneakers and their mission to reduce waste, you can read about them here.
