READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK: Last week LVMS students visited FKS, BAC, and OFRS to celebrate Read Across America Week by reading some short stories to our elementary students!

Reminders

NEXTREX RECYCLING CHALLENGE: LVMS is trying to collect 1000 lbs of plastic. Students can drop off soft plastics, such as bags, wraps, bubble wrap, and packing, outside of Mr. Ippolito's Office. 

SPRING SPORTS PAPERWORK REMINDER: All physicals/paperwork for those interested in playing Spring Sports at LVMS is due by March 20th.  Please CLICK HERE for more information or see below!

Daily Announcements

Tickets are $5 per person
Students must purchase tickets in advance during lunch!
No tickets will be sold at the door
Students must have a ride home at 5:00 PM

The Main Office has implemented a new digital sign-in and sign-out system.  This update will help improve accuracy and efficiency with our attendance records.  Parents should continue to use PickUp Patrol to report all student attendance (late arrivals, early dismissals, walkers, and absences)

Students Arriving Tardy: Students will now sign in using a Chromebook station in the Main Office.  After signing in, students will make a pass to their locker/class. 

Parents are NOT required to enter the building when dropping a student off at LVMS.  

Students Leaving Early: Parents/guardians picking up students will sign their student(s) out using our kiosk/laptop in the LVMS Vestibule.  

Parents ARE required to enter the building when signing their student(s) out for dismissal.

The Yearbook Staff at Long Valley Middle School invites you to make a memorable addition to the 2025-26 Yearbook in the form of a WELL WISHER. Some parents surprise their graduate with this gift. All Ads must be purchased by March 15, 2026.  NO LATE SUBMISSIONS will be accepted beyond that submission date. Only one ad per student is allowed. See attached flyer for instructions & more information.

We are excited to announce that LVMS is officially launching "One Book, One School"!

The goal is simple: our entire student body will read the same novel simultaneously to spark great conversations and transform our school into one giant book club.

What to Expect!

The Big Reveal: This week, we officially kick off the event! Students will discover the hidden title and receive their very own copy of the book.

Community Connection: Keep an eye out for more information on how we'll be diving into the story together.

Sports Participation Fee:
Any student who makes the team must pay a $115.00 "Pay to Participate" Fee. This fee is paid for each season the student participates in. Coaches will provide more information on payment. Payment and collection of fees will be handled AFTER rosters are set and finalized by coaches.
