NJSLA TESTING REMINDER: This week is NJSLA Testing in all grades 3-8. Testing at LVMS will start promptly at 8:50 AM after homeroom. Please be sure your student arrives to school on time with a charged Chromebook. Students that arrive tardy or without a Chromebook may have to complete makeup testing in the following weeks.

English Language Arts / Mathematics

Monday, 5/5: 6-8 ELA Unit 1
Tuesday, 5/6: 6-8 ELA Unit 2
Wednesday, 5/7: Grade Level Math / Algebra / Geometry Unit 1
Thursday, 5/8: Grade Level Math / Algebra / Geometry Unit 2
Friday, 5/9: Grade Level Math Unit 3

Science (8th Grade Only)

Additional Information:

Testing will take place between 8:50 and 11:15 AM
Please be sure students arrive to school on time / with a charged Chromebook
Students will need a set of wired headphones or earbuds (cannot be wireless) - students that do not have headphones will be provided with a set when necessary

Multicultural Bingo Night - 5/8/2025

LVMS Celebrates the Class of 2025!

When: Tuesday, June 10, 2025

Where: Long Valley Middle School: 51 West Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853 (Behind school building on the large field)

Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM (8th grade students should arrive 5:15 PM and report to their lineup location)

Parking: LVMS Staff will be on site to assist with parking beginning at 5:00 PM. The campus will be closed prior to 5:00 PM. Please be aware we anticipate a large crowd to celebrate our 8th graders - please carpool if at all possible.

Tickets: Each student will receive two (2) tickets for the ceremony. Tickets will be distributed directly to students in school the week of Promotion. Tickets will ONLY be utilized in the event of an indoor promotion on the rain date - There is NO limit on guests for an outdoor ceremony.

Dance Theme: Beach Chic White Party Attire

What to Wear: Wear white attire: White dress, white pants, white skirt/shorts, white button down with white shorts/pants, white collar shirt

RSVP: Please RSVP by May 30th - Only NO responses are necessary!

This year the LVMS PTA is partnering with GotSneakers as a year-round fundraiser. To participate, simply drop your pairs of used athletic shoes in the available box that will be located in the LVMS lobby starting September 17.
