As we move into the final week of the school year, included are a few important reminders:

1. 8th Graders will be dismissed tomorrow at 11:00 AM via district buses for our annual student clap out!

2. Tuesday, June 10th is a normal day schedule for all 6th and 7th Grade Students.

3. LVMS Promotion is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10th. Additional information can be found below.

4. Wednesday, June 11th and Thursday, June 12th are Early Dismissal Days (1:35 PM Dismissal) for ALL LVMS Students.

When:   Tuesday, June 10, 2025

Where: Long Valley Middle School: 51 West Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853  (Behind school building on the large field)

Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM (8th grade students should arrive 5:15 PM and report to their lineup location)

Parking: LVMS Staff will be on site to assist with parking beginning at 5:00 PM.  The campus will be closed prior to 5:00 PM.  Please be aware we anticipate a large crowd to celebrate our 8th graders - please carpool if at all possible.  

Tickets: Each student will receive two (2) tickets for the ceremony.  Tickets will be distributed directly to students in school on Tuesday, June 10th.  Tickets will ONLY be utilized in the event of an indoor promotion on the rain date - There is NO limit on guests for an outdoor ceremony.

Please be aware of the following reminders from our WTS Technology Team. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Gately, WTS Technology Coordinator.

As the school year comes to a close, this is a final reminder that all library materials borrowed from the Long Valley Middle School Library must be returned as soon as possible. As of last week, students with outstanding borrowed materials have been given paper notices of items that must be returned. Unreturned, lost, or damaged items must be either replaced or paid for without delay prior to the end of the school year. By the end of the day today, June 9th, students / families with items still missing will be contacted directly via email as well. Please note: Students with outstanding library materials will not receive access to their end-of-year report cards, and borrowing privileges will be suspended for the 2025–2026 school year until the matter is resolved. Any materials can be returned directly to the LVMS Library throughout the school day. Please direct any questions to LVMS Librarian Mrs. Taylor-Flynn.

Contest Rules:

1. This design MUST be ORIGINAL ART designed by YOU (cannot be anything you downloaded off the internet, due to copyright issues) and must be SUBMITTED & DESIGNED BY STUDENTS ONLY 2.

2. You may submit an 8.5 x 11 front cover and 8.5 x 11 back cover on paper or make a copy of the the provided Canva template and submit your design digitally.

3. Must include our “We are Panthers” theme any way you choose BE CREATIVE! You do not need to include the “words” but the “theme” should be incorporated into your design somehow

4. Your design MUST include our mascot - the PANTHER in your design
