Contest Rules:

1. This design MUST be ORIGINAL ART designed by YOU (cannot be anything you downloaded off the internet, due to copyright issues) and must be SUBMITTED & DESIGNED BY STUDENTS ONLY 2.

2. You may submit an 8.5 x 11 front cover and 8.5 x 11 back cover on paper or make a copy of the provided Canva template and submit your design digitally.

3. Must include our “We are Panthers” theme any way you choose BE CREATIVE! You do not need to include the “words,” but the “theme” should be incorporated into your design somehow

4. Your design MUST include our mascot - the PANTHER in your design

Registration for select clubs is opening this week! As a reminder, permission slips / registration for clubs should not be submitted until the club advisor opens registrations (some clubs run seasonally). For information about all clubs, please visit our Clubs & Activities Website. As a reminder, all club activity fees can be paid via MealTime this year. Check can also be submitted with the registration form directly to the club advisor.

LVMS Live: LVMS Live Club is having an interest meeting on Monday, Sept. 29, in Mr. Ferrante’s room, 202, after school from 3:30 - 4:30.  Please join us if you are interested in creating exciting video news content about LVMS.  See Mrs. Melda or Mr. Ferrante with any questions. 

Robotics Club: Sign-ups are now open for ALL LVMS students. Robotics Club is on Fridays at 7:45 am in Mr. Kasper's room 107, starting Oct 3. See Mr. Kasper or his site for more info & a permission slip.

Ski and Snowboard Club: Anyone interested in finding out about the Ski/Snowboard Club should use the Interest Form Link. Club Advisors will provide more information about the program in the upcoming weeks and put out additional information about specific dates and pricing as it becomes available. There will also be a parent meeting in the future, date TBD.

Technology Club: Registration is now open! Tech club will meet on Wednesdays after school from 3:30 to 4:30. Our first meeting will be on September 24th. If you have an interest in design, 3D Printing, Fabrication, Virtual Reality, and Drones, see Mr. Ferrante in Room 202 for a permission slip.

Please be aware that the deadline to submit sports physicals/paperwork has passed (8/15/25). Paperwork can no longer be accepted at this point. Only students who have submitted all paperwork and have been cleared by the district physician can participate in tryouts

Any student that is interested in participating in Winter 2025-26 Sports at LVMS must submit all required paperwork and physical information by 2:30 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025.  Paperwork cannot be accepted after this date. All completed forms can be dropped off at the LVMS Main Office, placed in the locking blue bin outside of the LVMS Main Entrance, or submitted directly to Mrs. Hade, our school nurse.  Physical forms will not be accepted electronically. Physical forms and paperwork should not be submitted directly to the coaches at any point.  

Included are the Winter 2025-26 Sports Offered at LVMS (separate links include additional information to the coach website / tentative scheduling). As a reminder, all students in grades 6 - 8 are eligible to try out for sports teams.
