Best Day Ever Reminder: Tomorrow, 6/2, will be the PTA "Best Day Ever" Event held at LVMS.  At this time, weather conditions seem great, but we are encouraging students to plan accordingly (hats, sunblock, weather appropriate clothing, sneakers, and socks, etc.) The PTA will be present with snacks and water bottles for all students.

TALENT SHOW SUCCESS: Congratulations to all that participated in the LVMS Talent Show!  A special thank you to Ms. Abbate, Mrs. Garofalo, and the Student Council for organizing and to Mr. Jonach for assisting with lighting / sound.  

LVJWC PHOTO CONTEST: Thank you LVJWC for partnering with LVMS students for the annual digital photo contest!  Participants met last week to have their images shared and be recognized for their hard work. 2026-27 SPORTS INFORMATION: Included below are timelines for sports physicals for next school year.  For 2026-27 ALL forms will be found and submitted through the Genesis Parent Portal.  Forms will be available by June 5th.  More information coming about this process soon!

LVMS LIBRARY BOOKS: If you have unreturned LVMS Library books please return them to the library during support periods ASAP.  Starting next week, students and families will be emailed directly with any books that still need to be returned.  

HEALTH OFFICE NOTICE: Please check your email for an important notice from Mrs. Hade and Mrs. Pinto sent on 6/1/26 regarding pick up of student medications from LVMS.  Information also included below!

When: Wednesday, June 17, 2026

Where: Long Valley Middle School: 51 West Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853 (Behind school building on the large field)

Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM (8th graders should arrive 5:15 PM and report to their lineup location)

Parking: LVMS Staff will be on site to assist with parking beginning at 5:00 PM.  The campus will be closed prior to 5:00 PM.  Please be aware we anticipate a large crowd to celebrate our 8th graders.  It is encouraged to carpool when possible.  

Tickets: Each student will receive two (2) tickets for the ceremony.  Tickets will be distributed directly to students in school the week of Promotion.  Tickets will ONLY be utilized in the event of an indoor promotion.  

Seating: Families should bring their own seating to an outdoor Promotion Ceremony.  Chairs will be provided for our 8th grade students; limited seating will be provided for other honorees or guests that may require assistance with seating.  Please email jwerneke@wtschools.org if you require any special accommodations or handicap accessible seating.

Dress Code for Students: “Classy Casual” attire; polo/button down shirts and khaki pants/shorts for the boys, appropriate length dresses or dress shorts for the girls.  Temperatures may be warm so we recommend seasonally appropriate outfits.  Students will have to walk on grass - please choose shoes suitable for that purpose.

The school nurses, Mrs. Pinto and Mrs. Hade, will be available for medication pick-up at Long Valley Middle School on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, June 17th: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Thursday, June 18th: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Friday, June 19th: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Families may stop by the LVMS Main Office at any time during these hours to retrieve their child’s medications.

2026 Fall Season - (B/G Soccer, B/G Cross Country, and Field Hockey)
