ATTENDANCE REMINDERS
In the Genesis Parent Portal, please use the following options to update your students attendance / dismissal plan

"NOTIFY OFFICE" - Please use "Notify Office" option to log a student attendance - absent from school, late arrival, early dismissal (before 3:25 PM).  

"PICKUP" - Please use "Pickup" option to identify if your student will be permitted to walk OR parent pick up after the school day.  This must be completed prior to 2:30 PM daily.

Reminders

WINTER SPORTS PAPERWORK: All forms for Winter Sports can be found through the Genesis Parent Portal.  The due date to submit forms is Friday, October 23rd.  

OMG FUNDRAISER: Don't forget to visit OMG Burgers between now and the end of the month.  15% of orders will be donated directly to the LVMS PTA!  Flyer linked above or found below.  

PTA FUNDRAISER: Today kicks off our Fall Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser! In addition to an email with this information, all students received paper copies of the fundraiser information today. Help your student get registered at ShopFund.com using Group Code: YXYDP. 

GENESIS STUDENT PORTAL: Later this week, students will gain access to the Genesis Student Portal.  This will be accessible to students in Clever.

WALKER EXPECTATIONS LETTER: Please CLICK HERE to review following letter from Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Mirabella with reminders for student walkers.  This was emailed on 9/28/2026.

Please be aware that club enrollment will open when the clubs are set to begin.  Please only submit payment once information has been received from the club advisor!  

Yearbook Club
Help design the 2026-27 LVMS Yearbook in Yearbook Club!  The club is open to students in all grades. There is no fee to join. Meetings will be held every other Monday morning at 8am beginning in October. See Ms. Denny in guidance or Mrs. Burke in rm 14 for a permission slip.

Chess Club
Do you like playing Chess?  Interested to learn how to play?  All grades are welcome to join!  We will meet before school on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month before school.  See Mrs. Hollman in Guidance for more info and a permission slip.  First meeting is October 6th! 

Free 2 Be Club
The club where everyone is Free 2 Be!  All grades are welcome to join, we meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month before school.  See Mrs. Hollman in guidance for more info and a permission slip.  Our first meeting will be September 28th! 

TREP$
TREP$ sign ups will begin today! New this year, all TREPS sign ups will be through THIS LINK which will also be found on the LVMS website under Clubs and Activities.  LVMS enrollment will close once we reach 70 registrants.   Any additional sign-ups will be added to a waiting list. Sign-ups are almost full!  Payment is due by October 2nd.The $50.00 registration fee can be paid through Mealtime or by check brought to the main office.  Meeting options will be offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings. 

Destination Imagination
Ready to build? Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, September 23, Tuesday, September 29, and Thursday, October 1 until 4:30 in room 35. Please attend to receive more information and test your skills. If you cannot make the first session, please email Mrs. Brown.

Forensics Public Speak Club
The Forensics, Public Speaking Club will begin meeting Tuesday, September 29th.  The clubs meets each Tuesday and Thursday morning (club participants may pick one date) at 8:00 am in room 17.  See Ms. Jenkins in room 17 for more information.

Spring Musical
There will be an information session for all students interested in auditioning for the Spring Musical on Tuesday, October 6th from 3:30 - 4:30 PM in the LVMS PAC.  This meeting is only for students looking to audition for a performing role (stage crew information session will be held at a later date).  Please contact Ms. Ciampoli or Mr. Jonach with additional questions.  

2026-27 Winter Season - (B/G Basketball)

Physicals Due Date - Friday, Oct 23rd, 2026 - Forms cannot be accepted past this deadline

Tryout/Practice Start dates - Boys and Girls – Nov. 9th

End Date of Overall Season - Feb. 5th 

Students in Grades 6–8 are eligible to try out for all LVMS sports, pending compliance with the Student-Athlete Eligibility Policy
